The Copper Bone is my “excavation” site, a place to unearth Michigan’s buried narratives: the shipwrecks that won’t stay silent, the old stories, the strange tales, and the lore that doesn’t make it into history books. Here, I see myself more as a curator and librarian of the weird, gathering reported incidents, local legends, and whispered experiences, then shaping them into creative nonfiction that honors both the story and the people who carry it.
I have spent many years exploring the paranormal, the mystical, and the forgotten. Brushes with the unseen, paranormal encounters, precognitive dreams, and a lifelong sensitivity to the energies of places, keep my interest and intrigue well in mind more often than not.
I don’t claim to have the answers. What I offer is a careful ear, a researcher’s curiosity, and a deep respect for the unseen threads that tie people to place. I believe that folklore isn’t just entertainment; it’s memory dressed in metaphor.
If you have an experience to share, drop a line on the Contact Me page. Some stories deserve to be pulled from the deep.
Welcome to The Copper Bone.
